Data Deletion

BizSync is operated by ECOM EASY LLC. You can request deletion of the personal data we hold about you at any time. We process all requests within 30 days. This page explains how.

1. If you connected BizSync to Facebook, Instagram, or Messenger

You can disconnect BizSync directly from your Meta account settings. When you do, Meta sends us a deletion signal and we automatically delete the data we received from your Facebook, Instagram, or Messenger connection.

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations
  2. Find BizSync in the list
  3. Click Remove

Meta will automatically notify us. We delete the associated data and return a confirmation code that you can use to check your deletion status.

2. If you have a BizSync account

You can delete your account and all associated data from inside BizSync:

  1. Sign in at bizsync.io/login
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Click Delete account
  4. Confirm by entering your email address

This permanently deletes your profile, organization data, messages, customer records, and all connected channels. The action cannot be undone.

3. If you're a customer of a business that uses BizSync

If a business sent you SMS, email, or social messages through BizSync and you want your data removed:

  1. Contact the business directly first — they control the data they collected from you.
  2. If you can't reach the business, or you want to make sure BizSync also removes its copy, email privacy@ecomeasy.io with the business name and the phone number / email you received messages on.

4. Email request (always available)

You can email us at any time to request deletion. We'll respond within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Include: the email address, phone number, or Facebook/Instagram handle the data is associated with.

What we delete

  • Account and profile information
  • Customer records you imported or created
  • Message content (SMS, email, social DMs)
  • Conversation threads and history
  • Connected channel credentials (OAuth tokens)
  • Voice call recordings and transcripts
  • Campaign and analytics data

What we retain

Some data must be retained for legal, regulatory, or fraud- prevention reasons:

  • Billing records: 7 years (US tax law)
  • A2P 10DLC opt-in records: 4 years (FCC requirement for SMS)
  • Anonymized aggregate analytics: indefinitely (no personal identifiers)
  • Backup snapshots: cycled out within 90 days

Timeline

Confirmation: within 5 business days. Active deletion from production systems: within 30 days. Removal from backups: within 90 days.
